A year ago, I insisted on immigrating to the United States despite the opposition of my family!

When I just had the idea of immigrating, I was the first to tell my wife, but she was not optimistic.

Because we are all one-child, and our parents are all in China, it is definitely not willing to abandon everything and go to a totally strange environment.

I didn't immigrate to the United States on a whim, but after careful consideration.

Part.01 determination to go to the United States

As a matter of fact, immigration was not a whim, but a deliberate one.

First of all, I am about to enter the "35 year old" unemployment threshold. Watching the news of constant layoffs and downsizing, I have to re plan my career.

Secondly, the aura of her famous school didn't work after she left the workplace for a few years. I know that she has always wanted to "kill" herself back to the workplace, but the huge gap between before and after her resignation made it difficult for her to balance.

Once again, it's considered that parents are old. At the beginning, they emptied six wallets to buy a small house in Beijing, and a family of three barely can live there. If parents come to visit their families, they can only live in a hotel.

I also dare not easily change a bigger house, not only because of the rising house price, but also because of the less ideal economic environment. Maintaining the status quo is hard support.

Therefore, it is a very necessary decision to immigrate to the United States.

Part.02 emigrated to the United States successfully!

After many times of analysis and persuasion, my family finally decided to go to the United States!

My wife and I sold our house in Beijing and bought a small villa in a small town in the United States. The family live in a spacious place, and our parents can also live with us.

The United States is a multicultural country. People here come from all over the world and have different backgrounds and traditions.

When you set foot on the land of the United States for the first time, it's hard to avoid cultural shock.

There are big differences in language, food, social rules and lifestyle. But it is this cultural diversity that makes every day full of new discoveries and learning.

It takes time to adapt to a new life. I remember in the first few months, I tried to adapt to the new pace of life and habits.

I found that Americans are open to immigrants and encourage multicultural coexistence, which makes me feel warm and welcome.

In the United States, you don't need to file, you just need to complete your own work, you can get a good salary, and the performance of domestic large factories is different from tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands.

There was no involution, and more time for family.

My wife also successfully found a job in the United States. Looking at her finding her self-worth again, our family are happy for her!

For many immigrants, the United States is the end of the educational journey.

I began to think that my son would not be used to the American way of teaching. Although his son went to an international school in China and also had English teaching, it was still strange that he went to life and classes in English.

However, the child's ability to adapt is really strong. It's a bit awkward for his son to speak English in China, because he is mostly surrounded by Chinese. But in foreign countries, there is no such trouble. He can confidently and generously communicate with foreign friends, which is a surprise to me.

In the United States, his classmates are from all over the world. In addition to English, his son also learned a few languages from other countries. He learned it in the process of communication. It was not so painful to learn a foreign language!

In the American school, his son made friends from different countries, and this international exchange enriched his vision.

The American education system attaches great importance to the cultivation of innovation and critical thinking. Here, students are encouraged to think independently, ask questions and explore solutions.

My son learned not only book knowledge, but also practical problem solving skills here, which I believe will have a profound impact on his later life.

At the end of the day, I was surprised by my parents. I began to worry that it was difficult for them to adapt to the environment of the United States. After all, they have lived in China for decades, but it turns out that my worry is redundant.

Since the place where they lived was bigger, the old man and the old lady had room to play, and all the open spaces were planted with fruits and vegetables.

Let's not say that the old people know how to live. They not only need to feed themselves, but also have a life. Recently, various flowers have been planted in the courtyard, so you don't need to buy fresh flowers and vegetables.

They also conquered their American neighbors. Although they didn't know the language, they were greeted by their neighbors every time, and I had to stand aside.

Part.03 new insights after coming to the United States

In the United States, I feel that life slows down. I begin to have time to understand the ideas of people around me, which is a sense of relaxation that is not available in China.

Now I will take a vacation for myself from time to time, take my parents and children to the seaside for vacation, and sometimes go abroad to see different worlds.

Compared with the previous opposition, the family began to adapt to and enjoy the pace of life in the United States, and everything was developing in the direction of equality and freedom.

Once I decided to have a totally different life. Before I came to the United States, I didn't expect to live the life I dreamed of.

Life after immigrating to the United States is a journey full of opportunities and challenges. I've been learning, adapting and growing.

I encourage everyone who has a dream of immigration to not be afraid to pursue their own dreams.

In the new country, you will find yourself stronger and more confident to create a better future for yourself and your family.

Living in the United States is a journey full of stories. I feel very lucky to be a part of this multicultural country.

Here, I not only found the development of my career, but also found my real friends and family. I hope that every immigrant can pursue his dream in the United States and create his own wonderful story.
